Apparently, Ally McCoist’s highlight of the tournament so far has been the Colombian fans’ singing of their anthem! There are a lot of Colombian supporters in the ground, and they are making a raucous noise, but I’m sure there have been better moments.

Anyway, after seeing Maya Yoshida in the earlier game, it’s Jan Bednarek’s turn, and he would have to deal with James Rodríguez, both were starting their first game of the tournament. . . . .

Kevin Kilbane was the co-commontator for this game and he is generally less likely to say something completely stupid, but does tend to end sentences with “yes!”

I have been enjoying the World Cup this year, and have been able to watch most of the games but, of course, when it comes to Group H the first two games are on while I’m at work. Luckily it just so happened that B was at work with me and got this game up on her laptop, so I was able to keep an eye on it to some extent, and she was keeping me updated when I couldn’t look at the screen. . . . .
